Off the clock

Outside work, I play, tinker and build.

Three things fill my spare time: gaming, experimenting with security tools, and building apps. I believe learning and experiencing new things builds imagination and creativity, and each of these is a way to do both.

01 · Gaming

Video games, and sometimes modding them

I like FPS, RPG and action or fantasy games. Sometimes I add something new to a game by installing mods and configuring them so each one works the way it is meant to.

02 · Security tools

Experimenting with hacking tools

I try tools like the Flipper Zero to see how things work under the surface.

  • Looking up network details on my home network.
  • Copying and writing NFC tags.
  • Tinkering with BadUSB.

03 · Building

Building new apps

I build apps to try out ideas. My latest is DomainCheck, a security checker that turns a domain into a plain-English email security report with a score and fix steps. I designed it and directed an AI coding assistant to build it.
